Some nice hooters. (referring to going to Owls games.)
Hooot likes the Owlz?
We've been having so much fun this June. We've tried to spend a lot of time outside but with work and being lazy, that hasn't always happened.
We went to the hot pots with Christine, my friend Shyd and her fiance Tyler. We saw five too many snakes for my liking but no harm was done. The hike into the pots is so pretty and follows the river all the way up. It was a great day to go and we had so much fun together.
We've been reading a lot. Eric has a library card so we've taken advantage of that this summer. So far we've read "Into the Wild" by Jon Krakauer. WAY good book. If you haven't read it, I suggest reading it. Eric read "A Child Called It" and I'm about a quarter through the biography of Donny Osmond.
The Owlz gamez started this Monday so we went Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. We are avid fans and love to cheer them on. It's nice when we have free tickets to the game with our pass of all passes.
Along with the Owlz game we can get into Seven Peaks and Trafalga for free. We've hit up Seven Peaks two or three times and went to Trafalga the other day with Blaine and Rebecca. They did the water boats, we tried to climb the rock wall and Eric, Blaine and I got in on a killer game of laser tag. We'll definitely be headed back to Trafalga for sure.
Saturday after I worked we went up to Park City so Eric could skate. Christine and I hit the outlets and let Eric skate. It's always fun watching him!
Other than that we've just been working, visiting restaurants, eating way too many snow cones and staying up to date on our favorite shows via Hulu. One day we will have cable and a TV. Eric's last day of work was today and mine is next Wednesday and after that, we are going to live on the range for awhile. We're headed to South Dakota where my in-laws have a ranch to be cow hands (except maybe i'll stay away from the cows). We're also going to head to Illinois while we're so close and do some fun things in Chicago.
We're excited to move to Layton in August and go to Weber. Go Wildcats!
